Ribbon Cutting for Galena River Trail

The City of Galena, Illinois plans a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the completion of the final phase of the Galena River Trail. The event will take place at the trail head in Depot Park under the US Highway 20 bridge in Galena. Limited vehicle tours of the trail will be available immediately following the ribbon cutting.

Linwood Cemetery Memorial Day Avenue of Flags Event

Dubuque Observes Memorial Day at Linwood Cemetery. There will be a presentation of the colors and other tributes. The guest speaker for the day will be Brigadier General Robert Felderman(retired). The Dubuque Hempstead High School Band will provide the music and The Dubuque Hempstead Choir will perform. The service will include the Dubuque Marine Corp League Color Guard and Tri-State Vietnam Veterans. The Memorial Day services will include a 21-gun salute and taps.
